FROM THE DOCTOR: he importance of this miracle coenzyme and wanted to give it a try. Well just like everyone else who has ever had an IV of NAD+ we were blown away with the results. Not only did I have more energy. I felt MUCH “sharper” mentally, I had decreased stiffness and significantly increased my work out capacity. I literally felt like Superman. But, IV NAD+ is not ideal. It is very costly $700-1,000 per IV depending on the place and amount of NAD+! Oral and intranasal forms of NAD+ and precursors have poor bioavailability and thus are not as effective.
Because of these issues and how much it helped people, we developed an iontophoresis-based transdermal patch (think IV without the needles). Iontophoresis uses an electrical charge to push the small molecules “like NAD+” directly through the skin and into the bloodstream.
