What are the benefits from NAD+ therapy?

️Boosted Metabolism & Energy: NAD+ has been shown to increase your mitochondria function and ATP production, the “power plant” and energy currency of your cells that drive your energy and metabolism. Increase NAD+ = More ATP = More energy!

Improved Longevity: NAD+ levels decline as you age. This decline is linked to age-related diseases like cognitive decline, cancer, kidney disease, endothelial health “blood vessels,” metabolic disease, neuropathy, and frailty. Many of these processes have been shown to slow or even reverse by restoring NAD+ levels.

Improved Performance & Recovery: Increasing NAD+ levels in mice have been shown to increase endurance and regeneration of skeletal muscle tissue. More strength and endurance!!

Reduced Inflammation: Raising NAD+ status for only one week has shown reduced expression of inflammation markers such as TNF alpha and IL-6 thus decreasing pain. NAD+ has also been shown to reduce symptoms of inflammatory autoimmune conditions.

Better DNA Repair: DNA damage has been linked to a variety of diseases and aging. NAD+ status improvement has been shown to increase angiogenesis, DNA repair and synthesis, and organ regeneration. The decline of NAD+ is also directly related to the biology of skin aging.

Better Mental Clarity: NAD+ pathways have been shown as critical to prevent neuronal degradation, increase neuroplasticity, and counteract processes that lead to cognitive decline seen in Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

FROM THE DOCTOR: he importance of this miracle coenzyme and wanted to give it a try. Well just like everyone else who has ever had an IV of NAD+ we were blown away with the results. Not only did I have more energy. I felt MUCH “sharper” mentally, I had decreased stiffness and significantly increased my work out capacity. I literally felt like Superman. We knew we had to add this to our regenerative medicine protocols.

But, IV NAD+ is not ideal. It is very costly $700-1,000 per IV depending on the place and amount of NAD+! NAD+ is so effective in stimulating the mitochondria that you must do the IV slowly (3 to 4 hours or more to get an effective dose). If it is done at a faster rate, it will make you feel sick. Ideally, you must go multiple days in a row, which alone is nearly impossible for most people.

Oral and intranasal forms of NAD+ and precursors have poor bioavailability and thus are not as effective.

Because of these issues and how much it helped people, we developed an iontophoresis-based transdermal patch (think IV without the needles). Iontophoresis uses an electrical charge to push the small molecules “like NAD+” directly through the skin and into the bloodstream. Iontophoresis will not work with all peptides, but because of the relatively small size of NAD+ it works very well. With just 4 patch treatments intracellular NAD+ levels increased 50%!!!!

Mitochondria Function:

Mitochondria Function: The mitochondria are known as the “powerhouses of the cell” because they play a critical role in producing energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) through cellular respiration. To learn more about the functions of mitochondria, you can search for articles or resources with the following keywords:

  • Mitochondria function
  • Mitochondrial role in cellular respiration
  • Mitochondria and ATP production
  • ATP production

  • To understand ATP production and the process of cellular respiration, look for resources related to the following topics:
  • ATP synthesis
  • Cellular respiration and ATP production
  • Oxidative phosphorylation
  • Electron transport chain
  • Citric acid cycle (Krebs cycle)

When searching for information, make sure to refer to reputable sources such as scientific journals, educational websites, or books written by experts in the field. Some reliable sources include PubMed, National Institutes of Health (NIH), Khan Academy, and university websites that host biology or biochemistry department resources.
