LDLRAP1 Gene
The LDLRAP1 gene, also known as ARH, provides instructions for making a protein that helps remove cholesterol from the bloodstream. Mutations in this gene lead to LDL receptor malfunction and cause the disorder autosomal recessive hypercholesterolaemia.
